Uncle @TheKurtHester smashing that 205lb for 3 reps on 1/4 rack squats. That was light! 215 next week đź’Ş . Keep it up!.
13 weeks ago I was told to go make peace with my family, make sure my Will was in order & contact Hospice. Then I could only high bar squat the bar for 3. 8 weeks later I could do 95 lbs for multiple sets of 3. Today I hit 205 for 3 on quarter squats. #Unbreakable

And some of the toughest people can handle aerobic people. Mental toughness.
You've probably seen headlines: High-Intensity Training is superior to easy aerobic running. But dig deeper and you'll notice a pattern: most of these studies are short: just 4 to 8 weeks. A recent review tells a fuller story. In the early weeks, HIT and Sprint Interval

This from @CoachZach32 is spot on 🎯. Listen to him dive deeper on this topic of sport science and helping ease decision making for sport coaches on his Cheeky Mid Weeky episode below:.
Sports Science is objective problem solving. Physics hasn't changed since Issac got clipped with an apple, same biology, and everything else. Make up all the pseudo metrics, buy all tech, but if you aren't easing the burden of decision making of stake holders, kick rocks.

love that. Velocity based, not fast-based. Hearing velocity based most S&C coaches think fast only. Thats not the case. @clh_strength and I explain it all on this podcast episode. And yes, we both use @VitruveFit because of the validity,.

Highly encourage everyone in Strength and Conditioning to get one of these shirts in the next 8 hours.
Let's get around my friend @TheKurtHester. He's fighting Stage IV lung cancer and has recently switched meds. His insurance company is refusing to fund it, so it's on us. Kurt Hester is Unbreakable on @Bonfire

This is great stiff @Tyry202 . Wanna do a segment together on why CrossFit might be the best thing S&C coaches aren’t doing with their athletes? . For some reason S&C coaches steal from Westside, track and field, Olympic lifting, etc…but not CrossFit.

Start em young coach! . Strength AND Condiitoning (speed work too). Make sure y'all train athletes on the field too - not just the weight room. There have been many coaches to say it, I think the @ALTIS crew said it first, "we don't need more PhD in the weight rooms with all.
Jhigh showing out this summer!!! One of their favorites today with some chasers to get some speed/acceleration work in while havin fun! Keep it rollin Raiders! Future is bright!
