Research by @tcddublin research group @Stonebuilt_Irl, based in Geology in @TCD_NatSci and led by Professor Patrick Wyse Jackson and Dr Louise Caulfield, in collaboration with @ValSlate and @CarrigINT, has resulted in designation of Valentia Slate as an @theIUGS Heritage Stone.
Valentia Slate is now a Heritage Stone, thanks to research from @TCDOnTheRocks and @TCD_NatSci. This natural stone, which only occurs in Co. Kerry and which has been used for over 200 years, features on the Rubrics roof. Read more: #SustainableTrinity
