Higher thiazide doses correlate with greater reductions in urine calcium, which in turn correlate with fewer symptomatic kidney stone events. These results help explain the null results in the NOSTONE trial, which had modest reductions in urine calcium.

I’m a fan of Moses 2.0, but the packaging for the Lumenis/BSci fibers takes time to unravel. I honestly think I lose time from disentangling the M2.0 fiber vs the Flexiva such that some benefit of OR time is lost.

RCT comparing RIRS vs SWL for renal stones ≤2 cm. Novel here was up to 1 year imaging follow-up (KUB + U/S). RIRS had better SFR at 1 and 6 months, but at 12 mo similar. Complications similar(!). Patients slightly preferred SWL.
