The #SFGiants talked to Brandon Hyde about their managerial open, per The Athletic. If they do choose Nick Hundley, I’d guess Hyde would be the ideal bench coach — someone with recent managerial success in an organization that also developed young players.

Some career news: I’m super excited to join @957thegame as a producer! I grew up listening to Bay Area sports talk and I’m looking forward to putting my skillset to the test in a variety of different roles with the station. Let’s go!

I still can’t believe the Giants beat that Phillies team in 2010 — they were loaded. And it’s funny how folks tried to fabricate a rivalry from the lone incident between Jonathan Sanchez and Chase Utley. It materialized a liiiiittle but the next year, but never stuck.
