One year ago today I suffered a stroke. Thanks to the unyielding support of my family, friends, therapists, nurses and doctors we have made great strides. Plenty of work to be done but a heartfelt Thank You to all!

50 years ago today I kicked an Extra Point through the upstairs window of the pink house behind the goalpost at Newburyport HS. I was egged on in the huddle by my teammates to “go for it” and I foolishly accepted their challenge. Wrote a letter of apology the following week.
