Tim Walz let Minneapolis burn for four consecutive nights after refusing to deploy the National Guard. Today, he calls them in to hand out donuts to rioters. Absolutely insane. https://t.co/2d1rNADaYz

Does anybody disagree that allowing Minneapolis PD to work *with* immigration officers would be less chaotic/dangerous than having Border Patrol and ICE officers trying to do urban crowd control while doing their actual jobs?

ICE has to continue its work so long as state and local governments engage in "sanctuary city" policies. There is simply no other way to deport those unlawfully present, including dangerous criminals, besides ICE going and getting them. A deal should be reached wherein
ICE’s clear abuses of power are only creating danger in our communities. We saw it with the killing of Renee Good, and we see it with more horrific videos of another killing today. Law enforcement’s goal should always be to keep people safe and build trust with the community.

The Chief said he wasn't going to send local police to assist feds even in an emergency situation. So yes, it's likely true.
If accurate, this is a MASSIVE federal civil rights case against Minneapolis and Minnesota. The police dispatchers are being told to ignore 911 calls that are not “approved”? Can this be true?

“In Memphis, we saw murder rates drop 50%” because of partnership between local and federal law enforcement. Regardless of the small minority of loud leftists, Memphians are thrilled with returning order to our streets. Never again will we allow criminals to dictate how we live!

There is a reasonable option. Turn over the violent criminals in a secure jail environment to ICE for deportation. Everybody knows this. But the Chief would rather repeat talking points from Jacob Frey.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not

Their self-serving rhetoric is getting people hurt. No other state is suffering the consequences of poor leadership like Minnesota. Real leaders would be messaging compliance with law enforcement.

Reminder that the protests and resistance in Minnesota isn’t just some rag-tag group of angry citizens. -They have license plate tracking systems. -Organized supply lines / riot gear. -Apps and tech. And confrontations that have turned deadly have been tied to this
🚨Minneapolis, MN Yesterday, while driving, we were followed by multiple vehicles for over an hour. We were told that we came up in the local ICE Watch group’s “ICE Database”. You can hear us confirm to them multiple times that we are NOT ICE. At one point they asked for our

Wrong. When the states/cities decided to not cooperate, DHS made the consequences clear: If they had to go into the community to look for the violent criminals who were being released without regard to detainers, then DHS was going to arrest any other aliens found along with
@shipwreckedcrew They're not trying to deport 'the worst of the worst' as promised though are they?

Trump isn't targeting blue states. They just gum up the works, so require more ICE presence. From Feb–Oct 2025, red states disproportionately more ICE arrests relative to their illegal migrant population share. Large blue states like California, New York, and Illinois fell

Of course they did. They thrive in cities with weak leadership.
