Why is it that train companies will notify non disabled passengers publicly on delay compensation, yet train companies don’t notify disabled passengers on their compensation rights if they experience an access fail eg broken down lifts that cause more delay. #DisabiltyRights

Alt text says 1000 words. When writing alt text at least put some effort into it, make it sound as if you want to be inclusive.

So many organisations start their alt text with “image of a bike” or “picture of a bike” meaning a screen reader reads out “image, image of a bike” By avoiding to say “image of” this will greatly improve your audiences experience of using their social media via a screen reader.

Calling out inaccessibility doesn’t work if you are disabled.
