The social care sector is indispensable to the UK economy. Every £100 spent on social care reduces NHS spending by £35. The sector contributes around £68.1bn annually to the economy. Every £1 invested in social care brings £2.36 in socioeconomic benefits. #ValueSocialCare

No mention of #socialcare in today's #Budget2024. A vulnerable section of the population is once again ignored. And sadly, without investment in our sector, welcome new funding and proposals for the #NHS will be damaged and undermined. An opportunity missed. @Jeremy_Hunt

Ahead of the #SpringBudget we are calling on @Jeremy_Hunt to prioritise disabled people. This must include funding for #localgov to cover the full cost of services and National Living Wage increases. Without this, essential services will cease to exist. https://t.co/CakTYzKLXX
