Companies get stuck in the mundane proven process that trickles growth and fail more and more everyday to take risks. Especially risks suggested by employees. all your doing is diminishing their self worth to the company and failing to keep pushing boundaries.
One of the hardest things about buying businesses is the reluctance of the legacy staff to take chances on new and uncertain ideas. FreightWaves became successful because we were willing to do things that weren’t perfect. We would ship and then figure what needed to be fixed.
