I endured the entirety of this LSU-Texas game so that you didn’t have to. LSU somehow stayed in it until the end despite not being anything close to full strength. That said, Gamecocks should win by double digits tomorrow.

In fairness to Hopkins, he preceded the Clemson era of pick plays in championship games.

Gamecocks women don’t have the personnel to take their foot off the pedal. “Sorry we beat you by 40+ and scored a hundred, we didn’t have anyone else.”

We are all better for it, and I know he’s going to continue to do that as much as he as able while enjoying some much deserved family time. Thank you for everything, @GregLucasSCDNR. You’re missed already.

My friend, colleague and boss @GregLucasSCDNR retires today after three decades with @SCDNR. Greg has encouraged me so much, both professionally and personally. He genuinely loves what he does, loves being in nature and sharing his passion and knowledge with everyone.

There is no conclusion to draw from getting this call wrong on review other than Texas had to advance. So very bad.

When you’re doing whatever it is Illinois is doing, it’s because you don’t believe you can win on the field.

There is nothing to glean from non-playoff bowl games in the era of NIL and opt-outs. They do not validate or invalidate the committee’s decision. This is the Wild West. A couple just got married by an ordained Cheez-It mascot. The Tony the Tiger Bowl is a thing.

Texas doesn’t need to run any plays outside the tackles the rest of this game.

Rank the Gamecocks inside the top 20 and let the chips fall where they may the rest of the month. They are playing like one of the 12 best teams in the country.
