On June 6, officers and investigators responded to a boating collision on Lake Greenwood involving two vessels. According to initial reports, an Alumacraft boat carrying five individuals was struck from behind by a Yamaha boat with two individuals onboard.

Two occupants of the Alumacraft vessel have died and two others were transported to the hospital with injuries. The operator of the Yamaha boat has been arrested and charged with two counts of Felony Boating Under the Influence (BUI).
