Served with Harry and Gary and took part in the burial party, which was a great honour, although one I wish I never had to do. Will always remember.
#OnThisDay in 1990 the IRA murdered Harold John Beckett, 47, married father of 1, struggled with murderer & Gary Carl Meyer, 34, married father of 2, shot in side of face. 2 RUC on city centre beat. Murderer approached from behind, Castle St, Belfast. #OTD
