Every year at this time of year I get super burnt out. There are so many things I want/need to get done, but I have zero energy for any of it.

Why is this furry little gremlin staring at me…and why do I get the feeling she’s waiting for me to move so she can pounce?

I get why we want to end daylight savings time permanently, but there is no better feeling than waking up on a random Sunday in fall and realizing you have an extra hour to sleep in.

I was told this would happen, but definitely wasn’t prepared. I get that postdoc positions are supposed to be like sticking a lab rat in a new environment and seeing if they succeed, but I wish there was a better way.
