Day before a world trip with my 18yr old daughter , Qantas just bumped my husband off the flight to London and rerouted him via Sydney and Singapore citing ‘operational issues’ with operator saying flight cancelled. It isn’t. Daughter still on it. Alone. @Qantas #qantas #lies 😡

I am wearing a mask right now in a crowded waiting room. I wore a mask last night at the Theatre. In July/August 2022, Australia had among the highest death rates on Earth from COVID.

@noodlemaz @DoctorKarl Indeed I haven't seen anybody wearing a mask in months, my freind will be relieved to hear that there's a vanishingly small chance that it made her poorly. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Ok, so I know January is kind of a slower time for some journos, but these call-outs for sources/commentators are pretty silly!🤪 #PR #media

The booster is the best way to protect yourself & your loved ones from COVID-19 💪 If you are unvaccinated, you are 9x more likely to end up in hospital than if you have received the booster vaccination. If it's been 4 months since your 2nd dose, it is time to get the booster.

Thanks @marshall_steven @ScottMorrisonMP this is King William Road Adelaide - usually bustling with popular restaurants. Empty. Was this part of the ‘plan’? Heaps of casual workers have no work this week! #covidchristmas #adelaide #business

FLYING BLIND: Dominic Perrottet's expensive omicron experiment has been deemed a failure, with Australians cancelling Christmas plans as cases explode. The huge delay on QR codes means NSW Health now have low visibility over the super outbreak as the government loses control.

Please everyone just take personal responsibility for the PCR tests you can't get, the rapid antigen tests you can't buy, the other people not wearing a mask everywhere you go, and the COVID you're pretty much definitely going to get now.

Well thanks at least someone is reminding people to wear masks! SA/NSW it seems reducing all restrictions is the name of the game now....Don't really think now is the time to 'let it rip'? Maybe read the international news...

This new variant is really worrisome at the mutational level. South Africa and Africa will need support (financially, public health, scientific) to control it so it does not spread in the world. Our poor and deprived population can not be in lockdown without financial support.
