Given the news coming out of France, & how big the discussion around migration/immigration seems to be, I wanted to repost about ‘My Fourth Time, We Drowned’ being available in French now. We’ve struggled to get media interest in its release but the info in it is very relevant.

Congratulations @leonmccarron for your important work.
Last week I was awarded the Cherry Kearton Medal from @RGS_IBG, for a dedication to unearthing the importance, beauty and fragility of natural history. Came back from Iraq for the ceremony but arrived too late for pics, so here’s the medal now safely back in Ireland.

On behalf of the Sayegh family, I invite you to St. Peter's Catholic Church in DC this Sunday, May 5th, at 5 pm Mass to commemorate my dearly beloved sister, Lara, who I just tragically lost back home in Gaza at the young age of 18. Address: 313 2nd St SE, Washington, DC 20003
With a heavy heart I announce that my 18-year-old younger sister, Lara Sayegh, was killed today on her way from Gaza City to the south. She and my mother were reaching Egypt for safety. My angel collapsed as she was walking on the “safe route” past the Israeli checkpoint, in an
