Countries repeatedly demanded Israel not start military action in Rafah, yet Netanyahu ignored them and now we see unbearable scenes of carnage. As Hamas bombs Tel Aviv too its clear we are failing all civilians. The world cannot keep just asking. This must stop now.

Decent music* I have missed this past year I should listen to whilst delivering election materials - GO!
*remember I promote democracy for everything except music where I am an unashamed snob and will excommunicate you if you try to make me listen to ed Sheeran. Or Coldplay..
Walthamstow do not miss your chance to vote on July 4th - the deadline for applying for a postal vote is June 19th. It takes 5 mins online using this form- please share and make sure our community can have its say at the ballot box!
National service would cost £2.5bn pa. Imagine what we could do with £12bn per parliament to spend on young people - lift children out of poverty, fix the broken care system, improve support for MH, invest in education, rebuild youth services. It's a long list & not a gimmick.
I won't share Farage's vile and factually incorrect comments about muslims and immigration.
Re-elected will be a voice in parliament as this drum beat of hate will only get louder if it isn't drowned out by a cacophony of solidarity. Don't feed trolls-stand up to them.
Let’s be honest - this is the first election for some time I remember a substantive discussion about young people, based on a policy specifically aimed at those young people.
Only those who have no respect - or even concept- of the sacrifices we ask of our armed forces or the pressure on their families would suggest someone isn't a patriot for thinking this policy beneath the British army.
It isn't 'backing our boys', its insulting them.
Keir Starmer has been wrapping himself in the Union Jack flag.
But Labour come out against Rishi Sunak’s plan for compulsory National Service in the military or for charity 🇬🇧
I think they've got a tombola barrel with richard littlejohn rejected columns in and are just spinning it madly and pulling one out to announce, hoping something will make sense....
NEW: The Conservatives have announced that they’d introduce mandatory National Service for every eighteen year old – they will be able to choose between a full-time placement over 12 months in the armed forces or one weekend per month for a year volunteering in their community.
When you support me, you lift our ability to achieve together - thanks to Cllr Johar Khan and
@team313fitness
for a worked example ….😂

BREAKING: Sunak is going to take a day off the trail tomorrow in a highly unusual move so early in the campaign. He will spend it at home in talks with his senior aides. But the Tories insist this is NOT a campaign relaunch.
The Leasehold and Freehold Reform Bill has passed but it will only provide limited relief to leaseholders.
This parliament ends with the Tories having failed to enact bold leasehold reform.
Labour will finally bring the archaic and iniquitous leasehold system to an end.
There are 80 candidates standing for Labour at the next election who are part of the LME- can you now help us campaign to get them elected and ensure a strong presence of pro-European campaigners in the new parliament?
Donate now at:
When you see them in the wild there’s nothing like it ….passing by 23 orford road tomorrow lunchtime between 11-2.30pm? Walthamstow residents you are welcome to a poster! Or email and we will get one round to you!
