Had a great surprise today! Two very important people in my career and that I respect deeply, my current leader @BHosack23 and former superintendent Richard Carranza, got to meet. Education really is a family.

Glad something is finally being done. This has been a known issue for decades though.
Councilmembers learned some students were crossing underneath the train to get to class, so a solution to that safety issue is in the works.

BIG NEWS! ECISD Trustees unanimously named Dr. Keeley Boyer as the Sole Finalist for superintendent! She has served as Interim Superintendent since August & previously led as Chief of Schools. The Board must wait 21 days before finalizing a contract. Congrats, Dr. Boyer!
