In the early 1900s, Jane Stanford envisioned “a grand library,” capable of holding a million volumes. Her proposal laid out the groundwork for Cecil H. Green Library. On this day in 1919, Green Library open its doors to faculty and students.

The Apple Collection @SVA_SUL @StanfordLibs includes this amazing wooden 1:1 (?) model of an Apple Lisa. We know it is probably at least 30 years old, since we received this collection in 1997. That's about all we know about it. Does anyone know the story of this model?
