Strong disagree. Watched a ton of Freeman on WyScout once he was getting PT. I think he has really nice upside but Serg is a full level up as player when healthy. This conversation isn’t close currently. Glad to check back in 9 months but don’t see Freeman elevating like that.
Warning: *Long Rant*. The hit that the “anti MLS crowd” is putting on Alex Freeman to prop up Sergino Dest is really devoid of logic and I’m going to dismantle it now. For reference, this all started because one person with a decent sized audience suggested Freeman will overtake

Nailed it 🎯 . @herculezg speaking a ton of truth. It just seems like such random dart throws all around. This was my issue with Agyemang too. The player is fine but giving him like 1000 min over 6 months was a wild investment. Poch seems lost/grasping at straws here.
Former USMNT striker Hérculez Gómez on Mauricio Pochettino 🗣️. “I don’t think he’s sat there and watched tape of the Gregg Berhalter era and the previous finals,” Herc said. “If we asked Pochettino, ‘Hey. That final versus Canada, what did you like?’ Or ‘That first final in

I have this same thought. This whole thing is 4D chess elite motivation to get a disjointed/underperforming group motivated and there is some magic end game no one can see. Then I realize I’m prolly being delusion-ally optimistic. And my most delusional thoughts are here.👇👇.
@michael_usmnt @StanUsmnt I’ve got my sword drawn on myself for this one: Poch scaring everyone and the players now will actually make the team better by the WC….

My god… he’s just not talking to guys or communicating plans. Or he just doesn’t have Scally and Gio in any sort of plans. The Poch era seems like a total disaster.
🗣️ Gio Reyna & Joe Scally to @ESPNFC on if there was any communication from Maurico Pochettino or his coaching staff to either of them by the decision to leave them out of the September roster:. Gio: "No.". Scally: "No.". 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

I agree here but…. Reason I like this move is I would always have my eye on which young talented guys have a higher % chance of being good enough nxt yr. Is NB there yet? No but there is a chance he develops fast&is there next summer. Early exposure/integration is helpful 👇👇.
@StanUsmnt Banks needs to have a good season with his club to actually be in the national team discussion. He really hasn’t earned that yet. But it is good to get a look at him. But he should be higher on the depth chart than some of the other guys called in.

Unless you’re going to ask a follow up to have him define the leagues this is super vague and EVERY single fan agrees with this statement. MLS is without a doubt better than “some leagues in Europe.” 😂 . “Pros in European bball are better than some NBA players.”.
"The MLS, in my assessment, is maybe more competitive than some leagues in Europe." - Mauricio Pochettino.

RT @USSoccerColl: Poch might go down as the worst investment U.S. Soccer ever made. And we all wanted it. This is crazy.

Update… I will most certainly not be going. If this roster doesn’t cause prices to fall I’m not sure what possibly can tho.
So I was pretty sure I would go to the Korea game and if tickets could be gotten for like 100 I would prolly still make it happen. Cheapest on resale I see is like 180. I’ll be honest given current state of things Im just not investing 180 bucks to go sit top row for this group.

RT @itscalebadams: @StanUsmnt I’m at a loss for words, I mean this is diabolical. Not even Berhalter rosters looked like this.
