The fire is under control but has yet to be fully extinguished.

: Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Glynn Luznyj, has shared an update as our firefighters continue to deal with an industrial fire on Cley Road in Cannock. We can confirm that no-one has been reported injured and the building has been evacuated.

We are at the scene of a large warehouse fire on Cley Road in Cannock.
We’re advising the public to avoid the area. If you live nearby and feel you are affected, we recommend closing your windows and doors as a precaution.
We will share updates as soon as we’re able to.

We have a very large scale incident close to the orbital islands in Cannock. We have 10 fire engines in attendance supported by specialist equipment and officers.

Tomorrow 4th May our new recruits will be in Stafford town centre from 10am-4pm. As part of their course they take part in a charity event and will be raising funds for the Firefighters charity. Their challenge will involve completing a stepathlon and also teaching CPR.
