I had the binocs out at practice today. Highlights:. * Mac Jones was 14-14 until his final pass, a red-zone throw that missed the target. Jones mostly threw short but had two nice sideline throws to Jordan Watkins. * Purdy to Pearsall stays with just one miss from 13 to 1.

The No. 7 shuffle: The #49ers signed WR Equanimeous St. Brown today, released WR Andy Isabella, who suffered an ankle injury in Monday's practice. (Both have worn No. 7 in camp).

The Ricky Pearsall show continues to roll. He caught 3-4 passes, including a deep ball from Mac Jones. (Lone incompletion was a PBU by rookie CB Upton Stout). I had Purdy as 9-13, Jones as 11-14 and new guy Carter Bradley 4-9 with his last throw a deep-ball TD to Terique Owens.
