As part of the Jubilee Year we held a Pledge Day led by our Junior Chaplains. Each class then made individual pledges as signs of hope. We shared this at St John Bosco church where our Y6 pupils spoke at Mass about our ideas and our commitment. @CAFODSchools #pilgrimsofhope

Year 6 led a beautiful Mass today. We’re so proud of all they’ve achieved and the amazing young people they’ve become. As they prepare for the next stage of their journey, may they keep their faith and know that God walks with them every step of the way.

After learning about the devastating impact of #PlasticPollution, Y6 were inspired to take action. They wrote passionate, well-researched letters to our MP @YuanfenYang, calling for stronger environmental policies and real change. 🌍💌 #YouthVoice #EcoWarriors #ClimateAction

Y5 enjoyed their life saving session at their final swimming lesson. They learnt how to starfish float while wearing clothes and how to rescue someone safely from the side. We encourage pupils to keep visiting the pool over the summer holidays, ensuring water confidence is high.

Year 4 worked hard on their French Passports on #BastilleDay - they wrote French words for different modes of transport and learnt about the amazing construction of the #PontduGard aqueduct which dates back to Roman times but is still standing today!

Year 4 used clocks to work out times on the hour, half past the hour and quarter past the hour. Some pupils also went on to identify time to the minute and used this for problem solving.

The KS1 choir went to Addington school for a singing event this morning. It was great fun and the children were so well behaved. We are very proud of them developing the confidence to perform in front of others from such a young age!

In Y1 PSHE, pupils discussed the difference between needing something and wanting something. The children then wrote their lists of things they needed and things they wanted and discussed their list with their peers. #ks1PSHE #PSHE

In class worship pupils learned about shepherds and explored how God is a shepherd in our lives. During discussions they identified how God is with us every step of our lives, supporting and guiding us. It was particularly poignant for Y6 as they prepare to go to secondary school
