In loving memory of Joe Cassidy, Principal of @StChadsDurham from 1995 to 2015, who died on this day ten years ago. Theologian, priest, mentor, colleague, a wonderful friend to so many of us, and a beloved husband and father. RIP. May his memory be blessed.

A special shout out to the Chad’s catering team including our chefs, kitchen team & front of house. They provided us with a wonderful meal for #candlemas68 It included the production of hundreds of Golden Goose Eggs and Wicked Witches Spiced Apples 🍏 Wow!

Candlemas 68 was fantastic! A huge thanks to everyone who made it possible including the committee, College catering team, housekeepers, porters and many more. An inspired choice of theme #fairytales made for some excellent decs too which included a beanstalk in the Quad!

One of the highlights of @durham_uni’s Winter Congregations was celebrating Jonathan Jones’ honorary doctorate. A St Chad’s alum (and organ scholar), his first Durham graduation was in 1994. Here he is, now & then.
