Year 1 have enjoyed producing their final pieces in Art today. They have designed their own plates based on the work of famous ceramic painter Clarice Cliff.

Our JTAs have organised and run another amazing scooting event for our Year 1 children! .Big thanks to Chris from @TeamModeshift @WirralCouncil for leading the session so seamlessly. 🛴

Some of our Eco club have planted and named a tree today. We are proud to introduce Sylvia the Silver Birch!! Fingers crossed she enjoys growing as part of our playground! 🌳

Our new prayer and reflection space on a main corridor has been extremely popular with pupils from Y1 up to Y6; it’s a lovely place to stand and think, as well as read and appreciate other people’s thoughts and prayers. 🤲🏼 🕯️ 💭

Whole school enjoyed a brilliant @MadScienceNW assembly this morning! Lots of fun and learning too! See the letter and email which have come home tonight about the Mad Science after school club which begins after Easter. 🧬 🧪 🧫 🧑🔬 🔥

What a beautiful start to the week…lots of children were mesmerised by the tree in the KS2 playground which seems to have quite literally ‘blossomed’ over the weekend ! And look at that sky too. A reminder to stop and enjoy the many blessings God gives us.

Y1 enjoyed learned about Ireland in Geography. We tried soda bread & potato cakes; we had a great time doing Irish dancing! We listened to Irish music, played traditional instruments, we even saw Mrs Johnston's first Irish dancing dress! She played us a tune on a tin whistle too!

FS2 have been looking at the cross today in their #QuestfulRE lesson. They thought about why Christians believe the cross is all about love, learned more about the Easter story & listened to some reflective Good Friday music. They used oil pastels to create this piece of art ✝️❤️

We are so thrilled with the transformation of our sensory room! It’s a calming, safe environment for any of our children (or staff!) who need it. The children can’t wait to start to access it! 🫧 ✨
