Well said!
In light of the removal of safeguards for marginalised people and the blatant use of Nazi symbolism in the public space, I will be removing all personal social media accounts in the next few days. TOO will be staying open for business however; presence is an act of resistance.

@SameenaAhmad7 @DrNeenaJha NHS bullying brought me to the point of suicide. It is ingrained. I’m convinced that up here it was part of the business model. I’m fully better now. But I’m fighting NHS bullying constantly.

@DrNeenaJha Believe me I know to my cost, career and health what a bully looks like. You and your colleagues are the opposite of bullies. You are doing your ethical duty as doctors to raised concerns that affect patient care. If you didn’t you would be bystanders. And part of the problem.

@friel_raymond Just realised that I am coming at this with a Benedictine lens. St Benedict frames this in terms of doing what ‘would benefit the other’ and not myself. This is now how I understand kenosis in monastic living. It doesn’t mean being a push over or everybody’s dustbin.

Tiktok has been banned in the US on the grounds that China could use it "to manipulate and control Americans by spreading propaganda and misinformation." In other words, China *might do* exactly what Elon Musk *has done* with X. It's a blatant double standard.
