Injured my knee Mon 9pm, Tues 7am, couldn't walk, A&E visit, X-ray, bones ok, no other scan offered as I'm over 50 & not allowed an MRI scan! Referred to physio & 2 x crutches but a 2 week wait & I've 2 co-morbidities? WhyπŸ€” #T1D @CMTUnitedKdom. @DiabetesUK @NHSEngland.

What an incredible weekend. Respect to so many T1Ds who share the glass half full of life with managing diabetes. Incredible weekend, so good meeting so many like minded human beings with one common goal of staying alive 24/7 - 365 days each year. Thank you all x πŸ’™β€οΈπŸ₯°
