Sad news. Jerry Bostick, one of the greats of Apollo-era Mission Control has passed away. He was enormously helpful to our Mission Control film. A warm and generous soul and a great American. Love and blessings to his family and friends.

Eileen Collins is a trailblazer, the first female space shuttle commander, and tells me about the pressure she faced: "I did not want to make a mistake because I didn't want people to say, 'Oh look, the woman made a mistake.' I was the first and I was setting a precedent."

A very Happy 90th Birthday to our friend: astronaut Charlie Duke, born Oct 3rd, 1935. Duke was CAPCOM during the first Moon landing. He took country music to the Moon during Apollo 16 and was the youngest moonwalker of Apollo. He's one of the stars of our film. Happy birthday!

A week ago, I went to Starbase with Eileen Collins, the first woman to command a US spacecraft. We played our @spacewomanfilm near where a fleet of spacecraft are being built, and took a lift to the top of the launch tower. Electrifying day. Brilliant, positive @SpaceX team.

He had a long and extraorindary life, but it is still a moment of great sadness to lose Jim Lovell, who we worked with on multiple films. With love and respect, we wish you blue skies and bright stars , sir. https://t.co/uSy4us7rFB James Lovell, who commanded Apollo 13.
