Punjab has stood up against the migrant workers from Bihar and UP who are involved in crimes in the state. Incidents like chain snatching, child abduction have drastically increased in Punjab due to these people. Recently, a 5 yo child was molested and k!led by a migrant.

Migrants from Bihar have faced targeted violence in Maharashtra, Assam, Tamil Nadu & West Bengal. Punjab has never attacked them collectively—but with crime rising, it’s time for some real retrospection on how migration and law & order are handled.
