We have had a great day celebrating the King's Coronation. The children have enjoyed lots of fun activities including a photo booth! Obviously a few staff had to test it out ready for the children to have a go! #kingscoronation #spfamily

Class 7 started a new art unit today βMusic and Artβ. We looked at how both subjects are connected and how this influenced the artist Kandinsky. The children had the chance to slow draw, listening to the beat of a metronome as well as creating visual notes about Kandinsky.

Our acorn has now sprouted leaves. Look through Class 15's window to see how it progresses. Class 15 planted carrots and potatoes last week. They are also growing onions, garlic and a selection of annual flowers that they hope will brighten up the area outside their classroom.

Year 2 have presented their half-termly projects this afternoon. Their task was to show what they know about plants. We loved re-capping our sticky learning from this Science unit.

Our Year 2 pupils have been developing their sewing skills during our DT unit. Each child has designed an individual bookmark and have used a running stich to attach different pieces of material together.

Today is #Victorian day in Year 5! The classrooms were set up with chalk and black paper (we don't have any blackboards!) The children are dressed in their Victorian outfits and the teaching staff look a little scary :)
