Overall impact: 💥 This strategy holds significant promise for improved clinical outcomes in ALK-positive lung cancer patients, representing a valuable first-line therapeutic option.

Promising results: 🌟 In vivo 🐁 experiments demonstrated remarkable tumor suppression with the combined ALK and SRC inhibitor treatment without toxicity 👇.

Our approach:💡We explored co-targeting ALK and SRC to improve therapeutic efficacy. Extensive (phospho)proteomic analyses revealed a multifaceted cell death mechanism, achieving synergistic mTOR pathway suppression in both ALK-driven murine and patient-derived tumor cells👇

Key takeaway:🔑We identified mechanistically a new therapeutic approach to tackle EML4-ALK-lung cancer. We successfully generated Eml4-Alk variant 1 and 3 tumors in vivo using CRISPR/Cas9🧬, allowing us to investigate combination therapies for enhanced response to ALKinhibitors👇.
