Had the #AstraZeneca jab on Saturday morning - as did 3 other friends. All of us hit by wave of exhaustion 6 hours later then flu like symptoms for next 36 hours. Wiped out. Monday morning and everyone totally fine again. Science is amazing.

@ThisisDavina I clocked a guy doing the same to me on the tube, while pretending he wasn’t. He took the photo at the exact moment we went into a tunnel, the flash went off, everyone looked at him, he went puce and jumped off at next station without once looking up 😂.

At George Alagiah’s memorial yesterday, @BBCSteveR played the piano live in St Martin’s-in-the-Fields as this film played in front of more than 800 people. Beautiful tribute expertly edited by @alicewilliams85.
It was an honour for me to play the piano at George Alagiah’s memorial service. Such an emotional, uplifting celebration of his life. Here’s the montage of George at work and at home for which I provided a musical accompaniment.

One of my favourite people in the world. I find the way he deals with all this treatment extraordinary.
As I prepare for my 24th infusion of chemo next week, delighted to hear that bowel cancer screening will be available at age 50 in England. About time. It will save lives and hopefully mean fewer patients have to go through the kind of treatment I’ve had.
