Well EPFO is not mandatory if your salary is above Rs 15000 pm. Please let me know if this is correct @ActusDei 25% restriction withdrawal after even retirement is so regressive.
EPFO meeting yesterday has announced some alarming provisions: 1) Full withdrawal in case of unemployment will happen after 12 months vs 2 months currently 2) Full withdrawal of pension after 36 months rather than 2 months currently 3) 25% of your EPF, kept in EPF always!

Tax on PF, Tax on LTCG, increased STCG, tax on dividend, increased STT, increased health education Cess, surcharge on high income, increased tax on debt investment, taking away indexation benefits, you name it and they added tax on that. The "no tax" upto 12L is hardly useful
