I am finding interacting here more and more draining, and so, after a decade of generally entertaining and informative patter. I'm going to try pastures new. I'm not leaving this place, just not visiting as much as I used to. You will find me unravelling elsewhere 👍Good luck.

The Harry Kane manufacturing penalties thing. It's real. As a Villa fan I have seen it before. No intention to play the ball, the only intention is to initiate contact. Not cute. Cuntish.

I would like to highlight how Michael Oliver booked Jacob Ramsey for his first foul - yet Luke Shaw can hack the standing leg of McGinn, and Fernandes foul Targett with malice - and nothing. Bias made flesh are the PGMOL.

I feel for Sanson - he got played a coward's pass and had to reach under pressure to get it. Villa gifted Man Utd two goals - yet bossed that second half. The impact of removing Ings will I hope convince the naysayers that playing both forwards is counterproductive. utv

#AVFC Samatta. Seeing all sorts of opinions but for me he showed the one quality that is hard to coach - he put himself in the right areas repeatedly - but his timing was off. Timing comes with practice. The knack of being in the right place at the right time is a gift.

Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. Villa have improved over the side that barely avoided relegation last season, but that improvement has mainly come in defence. As an offensive force, without Jack, they have too many of championship quality. This needs changing.
