I don’t know why the phrase “emergency podcast” winds me up so much, but it does. Perhaps as it’s a metaphor for grandiose liberal impotency against the new normal. Or perhaps it’s because it’s being used by the architect of an illegal invasion that killed thousands. Or both.
We will be doing an emergency podcast 415pm on the catastrophic events in Qatar. We really are now living in a world where so called strongman leaders think they can do what they want where they want with impunity. Hard to see how this does anything but make things worse. Link to
