Apparently “real-time” at @AbsaUganda means 9am–3pm only. Anything after that? Wait till Monday. A client RTGS’d funds at 4pm Friday, I’ll see them Monday morning. 60hrs later. But @CentenaryBank clients got theirs Friday evening. Guess some “real times” are more real than others

A client sent me an RTGS via @AbsaUganda yesterday. 24hrs later, still waiting. Everyone else got theirs instantly thru another bank. Starting to wonder what the “RT” in RTGS stands for, coz it clearly isn’t real-time. What exactly is the RTGS cost for, the delay?
