Our friends at @planetski have put together a fantastic write up of our recent @ajbell 3 Valley Rally for Snow Camp. With over £320k raised it’s our most successful alpine fundraising event to date! Grab a cuppa and enjoy! @ChemmySki @skigrahambell.

Our Scotland group had their BASI Training day as part of their Excel Course during the weekend, which was joined by coaches at Bearsden to introduce the Foundation qualification all students were working towards. ⛷️ @BASIOfficial

Our London and Excel students had a great day training with their BASI Trainers, Lyndon and Marco on Sunday. Focus on their foundation and posture, and focus on their technical riding. Can't wait to see how the group improves their riding over the next few weeks of Excel! 💙⛷️

Our Midlands staff team had a great day at Empowering Coaching workshop organised by our charity partners @LtPFUK and @positiveyouthUK. We bumped into ex-Snow Camp apprentice Tamsir who is now a youth worker at PYF. Thanks to Coventry Boys and Girls Club for hosting us! 💙

Big thanks to @glencoemountain for having our 3 Scotland apprentices on work placement!. Here are Omar and Max helping with lessons and in ski hire, it's been brilliant hands-on experience. But we're mostly just glad they got up in time for the 6.40am bus from Glasgow 😉

🤩 We had an amazing week at Tamworth Snowdome! Our Midlands Excel course was a huge success and it was great to welcome all of our young people back to the slopes. It's been inspiring to see them develop their skills and we can't wait to see what they achieve next!

What will they do next? Our apprenticeship offers such vast exposure to a variety of different pathways over 8 months. Many young people consider pathways into instructing, youth work, counselling, or simply want to enjoy a season in the mountains before the next step. 💙.

🧠 Mental health support with our regional wellbeing managers. Our apprentices also undertake a Counselling Skills Level 1 course to develop their skills around listening and supporting other young people throughout their Snow Camp journey.

🎓 New qualifications. Our London, Midlands and North West groups study for an NVQ Level 2 in Community Activator Coach and Scotland group works towards an SVQ in Sports Coaching.

🏔️ Opportunities to work at national and international snowsports events thanks to work placements and partnerships. We have the pleasure of joining the @SkiExchangeLtd for the Consumer Ski Test over the coming months and shout-out to @natsnowshow for the continued support.

💼 Work placements across in the UK and abroad with our amazing industry partners. This year we've had the opportunity to travel to Les Gets with @summit_special and Val d'Isere with @workaseason and received exposure to different jobs under new Brexit laws.

We had the most fantastic time attending last week's Inter-Livery Ski Championships in Morzine, where 30 teams raised over £35,000 for our work with young people! 🤩 We want to thank everyone for their support, including @ESFMorzine and the ILSC team. See you next year! 👋
