Agree. Locals shouldn’t count towards the ranking ever, even the big ones.
Locals should be about keeping your local community engaged and building a scene. Top players from a scene should be able to go contribute to that without having to go treat it the same as a major.
I decided to join locals on this year. One of the reason is panda rankings said they didn’t count locals.
As a top player, joining the local just has a risk of losing but even if I won, winning didn’t help us in rankings.
