I think this game slipped under the radar because 2024 was such a packed year for games, but it’s well worth a look. Also, I can attest that the developers are all cool people.
Hey folks, I've added The Tartarus Key to my Steam curator page. If you're a Survival Horror fan and love the puzzles, and wondered what it would be like if a Resident Evil-like was just the puzzles? Then by god do I ever have a game for you! 👍.

Finally, there's Kitsune Tails, which is coming out in less than a month! It pays tribute to oldschool platformers, Mario 3 in particular, but it carries its own charm and style. There's a lot of love behind it.

Then there's Tako no Himitsu, whose Kickstarter campaign just started. It shares a lot of Small Saga's GBA RPG inspirations, and even has some music contributed by the Golden Sun composer!.

The Tartarus Key actually has nothing in common with Small Saga, but it's made by some very cool people and is probably the most slept-on game of 2023. Take a look if you've got an itch for a PS1 horror puzzle game!.
