I respect this take bc of mj but respectfully i have to disagree bc i think you forgot bey came up in the era without social media too. Social media literally just came about 09/10 not including MySpace.
@YonceBarbie_ Beyonce is a great artist, love her down. But I totally disagree. Everything Beyonce is celebrated for. the visuals, the live performance precision, the conceptual storytelling, the genre fusion etc, MJ did it and did it without social media and tik tok and streaming etc.
