So, Shared Chat dropped on Twitch today in limited availability. FrankerFaceZ support is in development but probably won't be ready until tomorrow. While I was given slightly advanced notice of the feature drop, I haven't had enough time to sit down and work on things yet.

I'm only at level 94 in the Dawntrail MSQ and I keep looking in shock at people who are already done. I have to keep reminding myself that those people probably haven't finished levelling their crafters and gatherers. We just no life different things.

Because Twitch's power-ups only work for native emotes, I added a way for channel owners to let people gigantify add-on emotes if they're using FrankerFaceZ. If you want to let users do that, just set up a custom reward with the string "FFZ:GE" in the description. Example:

I've put out an initial FrankerFaceZ update for the new Twitch "Power-Ups" things. This fixes the main issues, notably with picking an emote. Message Effects still aren't rendering correctly, since those will be more work to implement, but they're at least less wrong now.

Since you can do bot interactions via HTTP requests, I kind of want to try stuffing a bot in a Cloudflare Worker. I use a few node libraries that wouldn't work in workers, sadly. Notably, sharp (libvips) wrapper for image manipulation.

There's nothing funnier than opening a changelog for a JavaScript project. You'll find a release with a version like "1.0.0-rc.43" and it'll have a BREAKING CHANGES section. Breaking changes. In a release candidate. Help.
