Dear Actors, please, when you are asked for a selftape (and given adequate time), LEARN YOUR LINES before taping. We see SO many tapes where the actor is reading their lines and it's highly distracting and doesn't give you the opportunity to properly show off your skills!🙏🙏🙏

Our office too. ALWAYS watch all our self tapes. Of course we are sensible re the number of people we ask to tape, we do our job, we pick and choose so that the process is manageable. Anyone who is not doing that should not be calling themselves a casting director.

And employing local creatives & talent we hope?! We’re all tired of productions being made in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol etc, and the powers that be still engaging people on it, who are based in London with minimal connection to the area or talent in it.
