A multi-organisational cardiac arrest simulation was undertaken last week when a new health and wellbeing hub (Te Kaika) was remodelled and re-opened. It is always a great experience for our Sim Team to work alongside other organisations.

Otago Simulation Interest Group (OSIG) was great fun this month, led by Phil Blyth. We simulated pinning a supracondylar #. Phil set up a task trainer using an iPad and a 3D printed humerous within a realistic looking (and feeling) 3D muscle/tissue around it. Emma won!

The amazing PACU team undertook an in-situ cardiac arrest simulation today. Such interesting learning occurred as well as a demonstration of excellent care. The Hartwell Simulator was giving some realistic observations for a patient having ST elevation.
