We call on @Keir_Starmer & @wesstreeting to lead positive change to provide:.-Increased funding for post-NICU mental health support.-Clearer postnatal care pathways for NICU families.-Co-designed, locally responsive services which reflect the diverse populations we serve.

Maternity and Neonatal staff should be supported to:.-Provide specialist care for those who have experienced NICU admission or preterm birth trauma.-Receive targeted training on the psychosocial impacts of preterm birth.-Work with psychological services to provide holistic care.

Issues we identified:.-Absence of a national standard for neonatal outreach services.-Lack of tailored, ongoing psychological support post-discharge.-Inadequate culturally sensitive care &accessible information. -Missed opportunity for mental health screening in high-risk clinics.
