My last two students at OU. I am incredibly proud of how they overcame the difficulties and managed to travel between two states for their research. Congratulations again Drs. Langford and Zhao! Well deserved!

20 years ago, as a new PI, I often was the only woman in the room aside from admins. We have made significant progress in allowing women to have successful careers in science. There was /is nothing ā€˜woke’ about this effort and I believe it benefits science and society.

Still in shock. Jean was one of the kindest and most respectful people I’ve ever met. Although I never had the chance to work with him directly at PNNL, he would always say hi to me in the hallway and ask if everything went well. R.I.P, Jean!

We are sad to share news of Jean Futrell's passing. He was a GIANT of mass spec and a MIGHTY advocate & supporter of @asmsnews. Our thoughts are with Jean's family, friends, and colleagues. Learn more about Jean: https://t.co/N9nqk5rTQ0 https://t.co/E4ZPIBJuyS #TeamMassSpec

Please, RT to help us spread the word. The annual CAID Workshop (chemical instrumentation) will be held on Nov 6-8, 2024. It is a great opportunity for students and researchers at any level to learn about analytical instrumentation through hands-on demos:
