The UK Foreign Office now advises against travel to all countries around Rwanda because of the DRC border conflict but not travel to Rwanda itself. By lying about its safety so it can ship refugees there, the government has failed in its duty of care to its citizens @mrjamesob

The third in the series of African myths, “The Ingenious Orisha, the Calabash and the Great Deluge”. A Yoruba (West Africa) telling of a story that may be as well known in the West as the story of Noah and the Flood. I hope you enjoy it. (Link in the comments).

The 2nd of my collected African mythologies: “The Spectacular Story of Zenzele and the Rain Bull”. I’ve collected these over years of working in Africa and, while they may not be the definitive telling, I hope you enjoy them. (Link in comments). #africa #mythology #stories
