Great question! I'll be deploying pelagic cameras on #DY143 and this footage allows insight into the status of poorly-understood oceanic species such as threatened sharks. Repeating these surveys over time also allows us to monitor the effects of implementing marine protection.
So finally here it is! Your opportunity to ask questions about our forthcoming #DY143 expedition. We've had some amazing questions so far. First one up:. "How do marine surveys like this help protect areas of ocean?" . Over to you, Paul, Marianne & James.
