I haven’t been active on Twitter long & I’m pretty horrified at the name calling and personal attacks that scientists/experts are subject to…often from other scientists/experts. We all care about the same things: health and well-being. Can’t we be respectful?
We published this piece last week as a suggested way forward. We have been called “white supremacists”, “death cultists” and “eugenicists”. We are doctors and mothers. This has to stop.

The point of universal mask mandates was a shortage of n95s: have everyone wear a cloth mask and hope that the filtering on both exhale and inhale does something.
We cannot forget the stated goal of these measures or the erosion of rights will become permanent (see: Patriot Act)
