Hey friends, I've decided to leave this hellscape of an app until it's under new management. In the meantime I've decided to head over to BlueSky, @ShellELittle. Feel free to follow me there as I'll be dropping some updates on my inclusive designer course & lectures there! ππ

This is required reading. Grant has spent months investigating this and gone through extreme emotional turmoil writing it. He is extremely trustworthy, and his journalistic integrity is solid. The accessibility community is hurting today, but we will endure. While we are dealing

For games accessibility folks reading the IGN news - please be kind to yourself, and be kind to others. This'll be heavy news for the community, with so many of us having been connected with the person & situations discussed. We'll get through it together, as we have done before

Needless to say, the production on my #A11yDesign course content & lectures such as my highly requested "Understanding Disability Theory, Language, & Etiquette" are briefly on hold while I recover. But rest assured, I'm still very excited to get this content to those who want it!

Remote work is accessible work. When companies, especially tech ones marketing accessibility this #GAAD, are unwilling to accommodate disabled employees in roles that can be remote, it speaks for itself.

If you're wondering why I'm beyond livid at the IAAP for taking money from Audioeyes, you can learn more here. Tl;dr Audioeyes is suing Adrian Roselli for defamation. DEFAMATION! Going after one of us is going after all of us. The a11y community will remember this.

When I get to the section in my courses where I talk about Accessibility Certs you can bet I will go into detail about the downfall of the IAAP. The next generation of Accessibility professionals won't be fooled so easily. I'm big mad fam. Bigggg mad.

I will _never_ support the IAAP or their certs after they continue to blatantly take money from the ACCESSIBILITY OVERLAY company that is SUING one of our own for speaking up against these snake oil clowns. I'd think twice about paying the IAAP a dime. The IAAP: Profit over PWD
