Running to be a voice for the people of Ward 4. 📣 Husband, Dad, Grandpa. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Proud Calgarian. 🌾 Here to restore hope, transparency, accountability.

Calgarians deserve a fiscally-responsible, ethical, and common sense city council. I'm ready to step up and advocate on behalf of the community I've called home the past 30 years. I'm running to represent the people of Ward 4. See my statement below. https://t.co/Q0pTZdChFk

I talked about the decline in home sales and the drop in pricing that could be expected - back in September of last year - as related to the unnecessary densification through blanket rezoning. I'd included this in discussion with getting the City Budget back inline, because when

A Calgary housing report revealed that every area in the city recorded a decline in detached home prices compared to this time last year.

Should I run for a seat in the Alberta Legislature? I've been enjoying my down-time following the municipal election, happy to be somewhat away from the political circle...but am getting requests to either run for council again - in 4 years - or to run for a seat in Leg... And

This is amusing... People that supported other candidates in the municipal election and voted against me, are now looking for my support. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

One of the best souvenirs from my campaign. Tried to get everyone who showed up to sign a sign…sad to have missed a few and that some couldn’t make it…still an amazing keepsake from the run.

Now that the dust has settled and the smoke has cleared... Congratulations to all the new and returning Councillors for the City of Calgary, and to every candidate who put their name forward and worked hard to represent their communities. Calgary now has a new path forward.

Grifter George questions my candidacy after the election. Last year he was trying to sell me his campaign services. There are a lot of reasons I opted to run away from the municipal parties and as an independent. George was one of them.
@Sheldon4Ward4 Hmmm, did your candidacy help vault DJ Kelly ahead of Jeremy Wong? Looks like Ward 4, despite being over 65% Conservative, are going to have a Socialist Councillor.

I should be napping, it’s going to be a long night. Yet free pouring seemed like the better idea. Sure, I could be out with sandwich boards and flagging traffic… Instead, I’ll be sorting for something to wear this evening, treating a lot of friends who’ve supported me over

Get out there and vote for this man!
Politics is said to be downstream from culture but that’s not true anymore. It’s downstream from media. Controlled media. Controlled narratives. That’s how we ended up normalizing conversations about multiple genders, climate alarmism, EV buses, and the absurd idea that sprawl

Watch my interview with Calgary city council candidate @YakkStack @Sheldon4Ward4.
Adam Soos Show - Sheldon has announced his intention to run for city council in Calgary. Adam was joined by Sheldon to examine why municipal politics has gone so woke and to discuss restoring common sense policies in the city of Calgary.

I've spent my entire campaign stating that I don't want to Lead Ward 4...I'll be the tip of the spear, but will only work to represent them - shoulder to shoulder.
Calgarians. Vote tomorrow for candidates that will kill blanket rezoning, focus on municipal responsibilities, and leave their personal ambitions at home. You aren’t voting for leaders. You are voting for servants who will faithfully carry out their duties.

Given personal attacks over the last 5 years and full expectation of more throughout my campaign...I'd worked to shield myself and my family from Lefty Attacks. It was only through a conversation with a friend today that I realized that the majority of the attacks on me and my
Alberta Conservatives are made up of: Freedom; Establishment; Principled; Centre-Rights; Progressives; Separatists; All infighting...Why does it have to be like this? It's no wonder we can't accomplish anything. Can we all just throw on a Blue Jersey and agree to push our

I’ve intentionally stayed away from these kinds of events - cultural, religious, or advocacy-based - for exactly this reason. I’m not here to pander to division. I’m here to be a genuine voice for Ward 4 and our communities...united, not divided.
When politicians only attend what they consider "multi-cultural" events, they are using you for votes.

So many people talk about the problems, but not everyone takes action. Sheldon saw the issues, spoke up, and then took real steps to make a difference. Municipal elections are happening across Alberta tomorrow. Take the time to learn about the candidates and find someone who

Calgary Mayoral candidate Sonya Sharp is against a tax freeze because the bloated City of Calgary employees won't get a raise 🤦🏼 "I'm not comfortable with a tax freeze...if you are City employee that means you won't be getting a raise." A raise? We need min 20% cut to City

I'm not terribly sure people understand who I am. But they're gunna learn. Keep trying with these tactics and they'll receive the exact same response. I will NOT bow down to this.

We cant change the Federal Government anyway Sheldon. If they wanted to see people in homes right away, they could remove the CMHC stress test. That alone would allow more people to become home owners instead of renters in Federal government housing.
Even before announcing my intentions to run as a municipal councillor, I had planned to host a livestream with both @ShaneWenzel (Shane Homes) and @robdoel (McKee Homes) to better understand the federally funded housing programs. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to keep my commitment
