I mean, what the RNC was asking for was basically a time machine. In a lawsuit filed on Nov. 3, they asked the court to "prohibit" actions taken on Nov. 2.

Yet another judge — this time in VA — reminds local election officials of their role: count the ballots and certify the results. That's NOT discretionary.
NEW: In a win for voters, a Virginia judge rules that Waynesboro County officials are required to certify the results of the 2024 election. This comes after local officials stated they would not certify unless the state allows them to hand count ballots.
